2006 B.S. in Science Education, earth science emphasis, from University of Oklahoma. Certified to teach middle, earth, and biological sciences as well as intermediate mathematics (5th grade math through geometry and algebra 1) in Oklahoma.
Experience
Currently teaching 6th grade science. Previously taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math, pre-algebra, and piloted my school's first 8th grade geometry class. I first tutored algebra in college. Not only did I help others, I understood the material better myself. As an adult and teacher, I have a different and better understanding of content that I struggled with in school. I want to share my unique ways of understanding and connecting subjects and everyday life.
