Experience
I'm currently attending the University of Oklahoma to earn my undergraduate degree in can indication sciences and disorders. I'm also minoring in French. I will continue in school to earn my graduate degree in speech like this pathology. I love helping children, and I want them to become confident while I have a positive impact on their life. The drive to help young people along with my passion for the French language has led me to tutoring. I'm a fluent French speaker, and I've been studying French since I was young child. I attended a French immersion school as an elementary school student, I my mother teaches French professionally. I believe that learning a language like French opens up a lot of opportunities in students' lives, and I'm excited to provide these opportunities to my students. I began tutoring as a fifth-grader, assisting first grade students in the French language. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to tutor everyone from five-year-olds to college students. I focus on making progress in every session, along with keeping sessions enjoyable and fun. When children are having fun doing something, they are more likely to embrace and retain information. I also adapt my teaching style to match the learning style of each student. Outside of academics, I enjoy soccer, volleyball, reading, and traveling.
